Hi. May I ask why it is that when my points are bought, they can be robbed immediately? I collected and worked hard for the money in this game. I was glad to have the money for the private island. Here comes some root, buys it and then robs it. It's not a small amount. 50 million. and then I can start over. can't you come up with a solution for this? Thank you for your reply in advance. I'm playing on Telo and by the time he informs me that it's been bought, I'm already robbed.

Hi.
This is called buy-mugging. Someone clicks buy then immediately clicks attack and mugs you. Usually within 2-3 seconds hence the notifications arriving around the same time.
Mugging is a core part of the game. You need to make yourself 'safe' when seling high price items or in large volumes. The best way to do this is to be in hospital.
$50mil sadly is the price you have paid to learn an important lesson about Torn. No one will return it or change the game.

Points cannot be stolen from you.
If you're out of hospital, any money you have on hand is vulnerable to mugging (losing ~10% per mug, though the rest is protected for a little while afterwards).
The solution is for you to put yourself in hospital (via blood bags, or the new Ipecac) when you want to sell things (since while you're already in hosp, you can't be attacked, and therefore can't be mugged). Afterwards, store the money somewhere rather than just keeping it on hand.

Fr crime based games shouldn’t have so much crime
Alternatively, you can sell points at the pawn shop to avoid the risk of buy-mugging but the price is a bit lower.

Lol, read a guide about self hosping, nerd.
Hi
Alright. Which one of you criminals did this?!
This criminal did a heinous ting, an offense of the high orders to rob the local manager at a grocery store! Shameful shameful.
It is up to you to manage this. And there are LOTS of ways to do so as mentioned above. If you can't self hospitalize in time another strategy is to sell much smaller amounts of points at a time instead of 50m all at once. 50m at once from a level 20 player is just asking to be robbed. Try selling just 5 points at a time and stashing (investing, stocks, items, etc) the $ ASAP if you don't yet have a vault. An additional solution is a private sale to a trusted trader, you get a bit less but avoid a public sale and the buy mug risk. Again, this is a crime game and it is up to you to manage this. If you "tell the world" that you are a low level player with 50m that can be robbed, you will be robbed by "Someone".

Wonder how much OP paid for the account?
No , this one is just weird.
Weird weird, not weird suspicious.

It's possible that he created the account but didn't actively play, as indicated by the approximately 5 days of logged gameplay. After playing passively for about 50 days, he got bored, logged out, and later decided to give it a second chance.
Highly possible yep.
What mostly bugs me is that he obviously did zero effort to understand the game but still felt like whining when he considered something unfair happend.
Probably also never talked to anyone in game till now.

I looked at his activity graph a couple hours ago, whoever it is played hard for like 30 days and seemed to have quit.
I wouldn't say that this dude bought the account tho, there's no real evidence of that.

To avoid getting buy-mugged I sit at my vault screen and submit my money immediately, it works like a charm, especially when you have 100m+ in your bazaar and you get mugged just for them to walk away empty handed, If you have big ticket items for sale, I wouldn't keep your bazaar open 24/7
