Has anyone got a fix for the text chat disappearing, it has been over a week and it hasn't come back

Same. As someone who has had no issues, it's nice to see people still popping up. Won't get fixed if nobody posts about it.
Bag_Man: Try a cache clear. It would also help to know if you play on PC, Phone (mention Android or IOS and if you use PDA), or both.
If both, are you having issues on one and not the other? (this is easy to fix.)

I have an android, I have cleared the cache through my phone settings and in the app but still have the issue
Check the play store for an app update, there should be one.
