All companies can be profitable barring the most popular and competitive 10* like Lingerie Stores and Adult Novelties which can still be neutral, maxed director education, strong employees and proper ad/pricing in any company can earn an income above expenses.

Obviously the top stockless companies will generate the most revenue but then your employees become the "stock" asset which will likely involve paying them.

My AN has been profitable since the day I bought it at 40 days old, from 7* and up. Even more so now that It's 10* I also still only have half my education courses so I can still make a bit more. As NaT said as well, all the rage is in PSF's right now. Recruitment might be a bit hard though since there's directors for them sending out hundreds of mails a day, Oil Rigs I believe are profitable, TV stations, mines etc.

Most of these are profitable all the way through but when you're pushing for 10* if you want the 10* perk your profit margins usually start to shrink compared to if the company was around 5-8*

The ones that aren't profitable are usually the ones that don't have perks people want or the perks don't equate to money earned doing something else (like JP for energy).

Pubs are not..... If you like money don't go to a 10* pub
GS underated af for the price
PSF is most profitable atm
But the end goal is an oil rig
With a mine as a potential option outside psf

Yep lower star companies in certain catagories actually earn more then higher stars, pubs are a key example.
But 3m/day all in all is extremely low vs the say 20m/day psf

Mind sharing how a lower star company can make more than its 10* brethren.

Is it because of the advertising costs required to maintain the 10*?
MrNoggins [2741991]
Yep pretty much, there are some 10* pubs that do make money, but many are at a loss/break even so its not a rule but a generality

I would like to be an owner of a 10* pub that makes money...lol
Any recommendations and advise ..

Suggested this to a few friends who has owned a pub before.

A lot feedback to avoid pub companies as it is a money sink. Couple with the fact that the price of the company has inflated due to Crime 2.0. players buying these companies post crime 2.0 are demanding for the same rate now that Crime 2.0 releases has completed it's first stage.

With Crime 2.0 release only due at 3 months interval now, there is sufficient time for players to get the CS 100 without indulging in 10* pub. Thus the price of pubs will gradually fall according to one.

I was in a 9* pub recently and saw something very odd during the time of crime 2.0 release . The company dropped a star with no adverse change in sales or structure of the company. The only reason I can think of is that other companies throw cash into advertising to bring their company up to 10*. Shows how competitive the industry is when it comes to company 10* perks being the sole attraction of the company. Likewise the same for Farm and Restaurants.

Some brutal events in a pub..
21/10/23 The advertising budget has been set to $0 due to insufficient funds.

22/10/23 The company has decreased to rating 9.

Took 5 weeks to regain back 10*.

The company has increased to rating 10.
12/11/23

One week later dropped.
The company has decreased to rating 9.
19/11/23

Took 5 weeks before regaining back the 10* before dropping back to 9* a week later. Had to spend 30mil on logistics report to regain the 10* again, and lose it the very next week.

These are signs that the employees within the company cannot keep the company at 10*.

Primarily directors need to balance trains sold and risk losing 10*, or use the trains sold to beef up advertising costs.

Really not difficult to imagine there isn't any easy money to be made in Pub even at 10*.

The company above is no slouch in daily sales too.
