Every crime has 2 merits associated with it plus the merits for stuff like vandalism and illicit service crime counts wil get you back on track in no time. CE is irrelevant at this point as there is no up to date CE calculator. As Ched stated many times, your CE grows faster under 2.0 and OCs 2.0 will benefit a lot from crimes 2.0.

Tornstats is only estimating your CE based on the data it can read from the api, it can't tell what your CE actually is (which didn't change on torn's side). As for merits, there's 2 new merits for every type of crime, plus you have 15 medals in vandalism and 3 medals in counterfeiting to get.

The merits come fast. In crimes 2.0.

I had more than -7 merits when i joined crimes 2.0. i earned Tonnes of merits very fast and i have now earned FAR more merits than i had before crimes 2

crimes 2.0 is more fun than crimes 1.0 (at least in my opinion).

Hey Curio. Nice to see you made the switch. I was a late starter to Crimes 2.0
as I was utilising the self hosp feature by getting shot.
The new crimes are way more varied plus the writing is a lot more interesting.
Some of the scenarios, the fails and the successes are quite hilarious.

This is one from a fail that I found quite amusing...
