Is it just me or is the printing works the rarest industrial building to burglarize?

I've been at cs100 for burglary for quite some time, but as I'm trying to use the crime system to fund other crimes, i.e, forgery - diploma, it's frustrating using sometimes in excess for 150 nerve just trying to get the location I want.

Surely there has to be a better way to select targets in burglary to make sourcing items easier!?

Here's the exact distribution by location and skill level for each target:

These are the odds of getting a particular target after scouting. As you can see, as your skill grows, the earlier targets becomen increasingly rare in favour of the newer ones. Printing Works at max skill appears 4.1% of the time, or roughly 1 every 25 scouting attempts.

This is because on average the later targets will have better, more valuable rewards. This sadly does not account for market trends and, in the case of Forgery, the scarcity of some materials.

As for a better way of sourcing items, while there's not a way currently, I made a suggestion recently trying to address that issue.

Yeah, this is a huge problem. They solved flooding the market with cheap items from NPC by with a market solutions that makes it so rare the mechanics don't work in any reasonable manner. If we had CHOICE this would be a lot better but we don't.
