Though fr, there's a ton of morons about.
When I was in faction leadership, I found that most players will never read faction mass mails. I also found out that quite a lot of those players will also assume that if they haven't read about it, it hasn't been announced. They then get angry when someone tells them they should have been stacking for a war or sth.
I once got leadership challenged mid-war a while back by a guy who claimed that I had no strategy and that I was ruining the game for everyone. I had announced the relevant information in mass mails, in the forum, in fac chat, and even had a poll done on various options. He didn't stay long.
I once had the misfortune of trying to defend my faction's territories during the first island war, waay back. Lots of stuff went down, but at one point my faction leader at the time called in D3vl for support. This was back in some of his earlier days. We agreed on a target faction to take down and replace with D3vl's faction. The situation changed and the target became nonviable. D3vl proposed another target - one that I knew to be protected by an alliance of factions. I tried to warn him off, he didn't listen. He attacked this new target. Three whole factions from that alliance appeared south of D3vl on the map and wiped him out before he took his spot.

Honestly when I was in leadership and ran a faction, it blew my mind how many people fail to read faction mails or even the banners, in a primarily text based game.
My heart goes out to people who are currently leading or are in leadership positions in their factions, in that regard. It goes without saying it tends to be repetitive.

Not dumb. Most people are just too lazy. Too lazy to teach or to be taught.
To properly coach a genuine new player you actually have to tell them step by step like this:
1. Open item page here: xxxxxxx
2. Find an item named xxxxx
3. Use the item
This is just for "how to use items".
Imagine how time consuming it is to teach them how to chain, fast chain, slow chain, sniping hits at war, fast hit at war, which temp to use, how to asist someone bigger, how to assist someone smaller, how to calculate opponent arrival from abroad, etc. It takes dedication and patience. So most people just give up on teaching new players or the new players just give up learning.

When i recruited him, he had bounties from his exleader. But he was so eager to learn and basically a good person, so I coached him. Now he is great army for war and his nw is growing steadily. So no such thing as dumb player. Just lazy coach and lazy noobs.

Now as you can see since 2022 there is significant rapid growth. To know the right technique to coach someone, you need their behaviour pattern and have in depth talk with them.
No such thing as dumb players. You just need to get the right key to unlock their maximum potential.
