    This script is amazing and allows pickpocket to be viable for money making. Love it! Do you think this can be expanded to alerts for postal worker or other people (that drops medical Bill)?

Update: A new script from cazylecious allow you to specify your own target.

Hello! This script is for those that wants to get some Xanax from cyclist in the pickpocketing crime 2.0.
It'll simply play an alert sound whenever a cyclist appear.

Instructions
After installing the script, when you visit the Pickpocketing crime, click on the "Enable Cyclist Alert" button to start the alert system. It will also play a sample sound, to make sure that the sound system is working for your device. Then, must only be on this page. Even though the script works when you left the tab open, it is illegal in Torn, and may get you banned!

Works with Pickpocket JARVIS.

Yes. It's should be simple to do. Unfortunately, I've been busy with other project, so it might take a while to test and debug it.

Thank you! Sounds like you managed to modify the code.

Do you wanna try to modify the code for Postal Worker as per General-Kenobi request? I haven't got the time to look into the netcode response to figure out what's the appropriate value for when Postal Worker appears; is it `Postal`? Or is it `PostalWorker`? Or something else?

If you do, do let General-Kenobi know and make a pastebin here and I'll update the userscript. Thank you!

I figured you can just change line 53:

The logic can also be expand to multiple targets. For the `title`, I actually just copy/paste the name as it's shown on the crimes page - "Postal worker" and works.

The only thing is that it will always highlight the cyclist - idk how it works tbh but I don't really care about that.

To make the userscript alers for Postal worker, you'd have to change the line to:
```
if ((crime.title === "Postal worker" || crime.title === "Cyclist") && crime.available === true) {
```

Let me know if it works. I haven't test it.

Tried this on edit PDA scripts page and it works. It does trigger the cycle bell sound for both cyclist as well as postal worker. But only highlights cyclists with green colour; while postal workers are left non highlighted, with only the sound alert.

Nevertheless thank you. Serves the purpose :D

See this code over here from line 38 onwards:

  5. }
  6. });
To highlight postal worker, you'd have to change the 0px to whatever pixel the postal worker icon belongs to. So something like, for example if it's 16px.

if ($(this).css('background-position-y') == '0px' || ($(this).css('background-position-y') == '16px') {

But I'm not exactly sure what's the y-axis of the icon is.

After spending too much time looking at this...the problem is that this line is looking for the specific cyclist icon in the activity section which is unique.  All the others are shared across multiple targets (walking, running, stumbling, phone, etc.)

 

So this line will have to be re-written using a different unique check for Postal Worker specifically.   I'm working on trying to re-code this and will update back if I'm successful.

installed, but dont have option for me to enable cyclist ring, not sure what is went wrong here.

 

Edit: tried on firefox and it's work!
