There's two 'sets' of cans already, not sure why we need a third. Just feels like more items for the sake of more items.

They were not supposed to offer anything, maybe energy if you ABSOLUTELY need it.

You really haven’t thought this through.What category would this new item fall under? If it only puts smiles on faces dosnt sound like and energy drink, if you want to increase you friends happiness send them candy.

The items should give nothing, for your in-game character in TORN. It has nothing to do you, nothing to do with your TORN character, nor your TORN character's energy bar, nerve bar, nor stats.
If someone sent me a coke in the summer, with a warm message - I'd probably get a smile on my face.
It's not all about your TORN character, it's about the community and friendships you make here as well.

As for your thoughts on gift giving. There is enough already that is objectively worthless but can be used as casual gift. Think of all the burglary rewards and the souvenirs for example. I'm sure you'll find something.
