Okay, you say all these things but then your original post shows you don’t actually internalize the sentiments. If you believed them you’d not need to put up posts like this.
Here’s my analogy. My old man knows his worth and value in the world. He never speeds down the freeway or fishtails through traffic to get anywhere. People wait for him. He’s on time if he’s supposed to be somewhere but he doesn’t sweat traffic if it’s congested. It’s just not something he has to do. When you are a worthy and awesome person people wait for you. BDE
On the other hand he has a friend who is just a jackass in every way. He likes to intimidate drivers around him by tailgating, fishtailing around them, and then trying speed off once he passes them. Just an all around idiot… he is extremely impressed with his raised truck and his shiny truck nuts swinging under it… he’s a blow hard and I just don’t know why they are friends. All his posturing and self aggrandizing will never make him anything but a dumbass stewing in the most pathetic puddle of SDE.
Sadly for me my guy also is pretty loyal to his friends and I have to suck it up and deal with his friend’s dumbassery. At least most of them are tolerable.
The point is. When you just got it… you don’t have to say it, advertise it, or congratulate yourself. Not out loud at least. When all that is truly you… others acknowledge it. When you have to say it for yourself… it’s because you feel like no one is seeing it…if it’s there… they see it.
Now… just to be clear… I might be ribbing you some… but you clearly have a little something going on. Go back and read in the notable people thread. Maybe just believe in yourself enough to not to have to do posts like this.

I didn’t say my guy drives slow. California traffic is almost always above the speed limit unless you’re in caution traffic. Speeding to me is when the flow of traffic is 80 - 85 and someone is trying to fishtail around going 90. The only person needing to do something like that is the person knowing they’re not worth the wait. Pinky wave for the response though!

I think it's been long enough. When we were discussing adding the self delete account feature to torn years ago my argument for the long delay is that Torn is full of people with mental health issues that don't know what they want and have breakdowns. So it's good to give them time to clear up their heads so they won't regret it.
