Is there a script to notify when someone in your range can be busted ?
Was bored refreshing the jail page and everytime a really low level/low time was in by the time I clicked, the person was no longer in jail.maybe im just unlucky and everyone is just refreshing also. share script if you have one, need me some busting
I have it. its just I had have 5 bust target in a row being out of jail by the time I attempt. My internet is fast. so either im really unlucky with my refreshing and trying while every buster is refreshing or theres a script to tell you when someone is bustable.
just wondering if there is a script somewhere to help me work on it
Nothing special to it AFAIK. Jail is mostly down to one page lately & lots of people are looking for easy busts simultaneously. You'll have better luck when the next crime lands if you're not in a rush.
Controversial opinion - you are faster than a script can be. I haven't verified that there is an API endpoint that shows players in jail, but let's just assume there is one and it's reliable. Your script needs to execute an API call, get a response, parse it (negligible time here), and notify you if there's a target. Then you refresh and locate the target that I'll assume is highlighted and click the quick-bust button, which are all actions you're taking anyway. Since you can't spam API calls and the notification latency is gonna be higher than a second, such a script wouldn't result in more busts. It would let you know if there's someone in your range on occasion, but only in times when they're not being insta-bust anyway. Seems like an expensive "randomly check to see if you should click refresh" script at the end of it, at the expense of using up your precious API call quota.
TornTools already is about as good as it can get. You refresh, it parses everything in-browser according to your settings, and allows you to one-click to bust whatever target comes up. Literally as fast as it legally gets.
i would recommend just spamming faster, which is what i try to do
if you look, the low crime fail rates in almost all crimes means unless people are on 1.0 and bad at the game (stealing chocolates?) they're unlikely to go to prison unless it's that 1% fail rate (critical) or for a PA (high level, low bust chance)
I agree with you 100% - mugging scripts have more indicators to track, and some of them have been able to identify a target within seconds of them holding cash. The advantage mugging scripts have is that you can scan multiple sources of information at a time, and predict when a user might have cash in the future (e.g. opens a bazaar with many high-level items while leaving revives on). This hypothetical busting script, though, would only scan a single source of information which is why I argue that it wouldn't make the discovery process any faster.
right right there's less factors for people in jail so it would likely be faster to just f5 and click the quickbust (like i already do) so this makes sense
mugging scripts should still be banned realistically but what do i know lbr
