Personally I odsed on the very 2nd pill I took.... Oof.
I heard it's 2-3% od chance for Xanax, and 4-6% with ecstacy, and so far it seems to be about right to me.

Yeah it really depends on the drug ur taking, it also depends on ur factions perks so if they switched or u changed facs then that might be y
I have been overdosing a lot of Xanax when doing my happy jumps. My OD rate in the game is above 3 % now and it is slowing down my training and quite frankly driving me a bit mad. Is there any advice to avoid so much OD?

You can reduce the OD chance from faction perk up to 30%,
or a 7* Nightclub with 50% OD reduction passive

No OD reduction perks yet, unfortunately. I should have taken it as an omen when I OD'd on my very first Xanax in Torn City. Good luck all!

You're the OD Queen, of course you're supposed to overdose a lot... my advice to you is to live up to your name.

I got my first od a week and a half ago and 2 more since. 1 x and 2 xan. I think it's just bad luck.
Its bad luck. Overdosing is chance, I overdoses on my second ever xanax.
You are in a faction with low respect. Therefore little to no od reduction so you are on the base rate for od's. About 3% for xanax 6% for ecstacy and 7% for LSD. Still very unlucky.
The other thing to worry about is addiction accrual. Without side effects reduction each OD gives you double addiction points, 70 for xanax. (See my prof sig for drug addiction rates). This compounds the issue of no addiction reduction perk.
The toleration tree is probably the most important consideration when joining a faction.
