This may have been posted in the past, but what is the elo stat supposed to show and what does ELO acronym stand for I've beat up players with over 200 above my stat and got beat by players 200 below my elo?

I’m almost drowning in the condescending screenshots, but I have to admit you just taught me you can search for more than just users in that search box. The tutorial has you search for a guy so I just assumed that’s all there was to it, never looked half an inch down.
