Hii all

So recently we had faction members succeeding in a PA however 2 members out of the 4 got jailed. I know in the normal crimes it affects CE but more curious on how it works for the OC's.
I know succeeding a PA grants respect, money and CE gains but to the members that got jailed... how does that work?

-Does it hurt their CE despite succeeding the OC?

-Does the jailed still gain CE for succeeding in the OC?

-If they do gain CE do they lose more CE than gaining CE for being jailed?

-Is there something we can do to prevent or sustain the CE lost? eg shifting them to PH for a bit and shoving them back into PA (just a thought).

Lol i hope this makes sense, at this point it just feels like im repeating myself the more i type!

We have had the result sometimes that sends the top two to jail but succeeds,  it has never changed the order of people on the OC list or made them lose anything from their nerve bar.

Question's already been answered, but just for clarification:

- OC success means every participant gains CE regardless of exact outcome

- Upon failure, no CE is lost, you just don't gain anything

- Jailing itself doesn't lead to a CE loss, only critical/red failures from crimes cause CE loss

- Any crit, not just jailings, will lead to CE loss. In 1.0 this value varied depending on the type of red fail (with money loss being the lowest, followed by hospitalization), while the exact workings in 2.0 are unknown.

Given that PAs give 600EA on success, a failure would've removed up to 12,000EA under the old system (20x the expected gain capped to 1% of player's CE), which is why OCs don't remove CE.

Does this mean getting jailed while busting doesn't cause any CE loss?
