Does outside hits to keep chain alive during wars and assisting attacks like throwing temps to debuff opponent faction will still get you some payouts?

Julian840 [2813644]

Payouts aren't a game mechanic. It's entirely up to faction leadership how they distribute funds gained by selling caches. The only way to know your faction's payout scheme is to ask leaders.

Most factions will pay something for outside chain hits unless they tell members to only make war hits. Assists are sometimes paid as a full hit, sometimes at a fraction of a war hit, sometimes not at all.

As Julian840 said, payouts are determined by faction leadership. Before I guest with a faction, I want to know the following regarding pay:

What is the pay per hit on the opponent faction?

What is the pay for outside hits for keeping chains alive?

What is the pay for assists?

It's important to find a faction that you can trust will compensate you for your efforts.

As for the mechanical question of, "will an outside hit keep the chain alive during a war?" The answer is yes. Chains are mechanically separate from ranked war, but during a ranked war you want to ensure you are landing as many chain hits as possible (as well as all the bonus hits!) on the enemy faction, to maximize respect earned toward the goal.

Some factions do, some factions don't. Try to find a faction that does. We can't choose for you as all factions are different, and all people are different. So it's important that you shop around to find people that you click well with.

These kinds of questions are not questions to ask in the forums.

These kinds of questions are exactly what you should ask a faction leader before you send your application.

Good luck.
