hi,

yesterday I had issues with torn api because it was not always available.

 

today again, now it's not available.

 

if you navigate to https://api.torn.com/ you'll get a 

504 Gateway Time-out

error

again API disabled.

 

 

 

my other bots also running are giving API code error 9 - API disabled.

 

 

it is not a consistent issue... API seems to work fine and then goes down for 5 minutes before coming back up again. Has been happening all day since yesterday

everytime I have added a line space in between means the API was working fine for a while between the 2 logs.

everytime I have clubbed the error message together means the API gave errors and then my bot paused for 60 seconds then the API worked for 30 seconds where I got some more calls in and then API went back down (disabled) in the next bot run.

 

EDIT: in the last 15 hrs, the API has down 15 different times each time being down for 3-5 mins

Bet it's all the bazaar API calls from bot muggers overloading the servers.

 

On a serious note, it's been like this for the past couple of days

 

But please, do turn off public bazaar API permanently.

We've been having random outages in the past couple of days; it varies from getting 503, getting the API is temporarily disabled message or outputting broken JSON.
