Pickpocketing is by far the slowest crime.

Its also the only crime that gives you no control over the situation.

You can only choose to pickpocket, or not to pickpocket.

I think this could be remedied by adding a button that uses nerve to search for targets for some nerve.

Kind of like hustling, this could have a chance to fail.

But it definitely beats sitting around with my thumbs up my ass.

In my opinion that's the best part of pickpocketing. You take a break and watch the world go by. I like to make up little stories in my head for some of the targets.

Just like some other crimes that are time locked and you have to wait for the timer to finish, pickpocketing also requires patience, but you need to be ready to act at any moment when you find the right target. Which actually makes the waiting more interesting than just waiting for a timer or for card skims.

Better idea could be perhaps selecting pickpocketing area on the city map. If there's little traffic in one area, you go back to map and try elsewhere.

I'm actually a bit sad that the map is not used at all for crimes, despite there are distinct locations for burglary.

I like pickpocketing too, and you have more control in that than you do burglary. If there's any crime I think needs changing that's the one, as you have to use nerve to scout for a location and it's random what you get. Makes it very high nerve usage when you're only after certain buildings for materials
