How do I make money?

I am a new player and everything is expensive and wondering how do i make money to buy a single energy drink lol 

Start by reading this guide. Also, Energy Drinks are a pretty late game use item, they are not meant to be easy for new players to get and use.

I don't recommend selling losses because it's a bitch's way to make money but if you're okay with  decimating your stats for financial gain it can be a viable early option. 

Making money is hard until you're level 15. Then you can fly

Join a faction that is helpful to newbs, they can introduce you to RW and maybe you can make some non war hits for payment

You will need level 15, but ~flying~ can haggle PI, DP and three Xanax a day. If you need more, take a detour to ranked war I guess?

Cans are expensive and definitely not your first target. Some great advice here but flying is the key to starting to unlock your financial journey.

Embrace the watching the timers, it's a big part of torn life, Flying will help give you something to do while they grow.

damn I calculated from the start of the year til today that you have to earn about 20m per day to not have your NW drop with that ecan bill

You dont make money in torn. All the rich ppl made their money by taking advantage of patched stuff like cache farming and mugging scripts.

The game is easier now. Superhard originally and harder when people older than I started.

How ever I understand your pain.

Take your time to learn the game, it is really a worth while game. Try to keep your cool, and maintain a level head. Run the game likes it's a small business. Look to make profits where you can.

3. Fly to buy stuff for cheap return to torn and sell high(still valid for the rest of the year I think)

Personally for me this is how I earn money:

1. Traveling with PI and buy plushies and flowers. Buy low and sell high when back in Torn.
2. RW - Join a faction and participate in RW and chains. 
3. Stocks - Extra cash I have I will invest in stocks and try to sell 1-2 weeks, depending on market.
4. Company - Most companies will offer pay per day. Pay typically depends on your working stats.
5. Bank Interest - Deposit large sums of money in the bank and let it sit.
