Quitting the Army job and reapplying does not give you the extra dialogue option, where the interviewer questions why you applied and quit just to reapply. This is a needed dialogue option for the affronted merit. It seems you have to use job points to get promoted before the interviewer gives you this option? 

Are there any other jobs in the Affronted Merit where this is a hidden requirement? The Casino? Grocer?


It would be super frustrating to wait 5 days for the job points to get promoted, use your promotion to complete pissing off the army recruiter, just to find out you need to start all over because you need 5 merits to get promoted and piss off the Casino interviewer.

I think the casino one requires the promotion also, but it's been a long time so can't be sure. I know I had to wait 5 days in one of them because I spent the job points on the cash perk.

Hello there :D

Ya don't need to wait 5 days for a promotion,

when you join a city job,

ya automatically get 5 job points as long as ya have the required work stats, ya can get a promotion on day 1.

 

Also aside from Grocer / Law that don't require you to be hired,

Army / Medical / Education all require the interview & hiring process, rinse and repeat.

 

Lastly is that every single one of them have to be angered on the same day XD.

They don't have to be angered on the same day, but they do have to be all angry at once. Respawn for "not angry anymore" is 4 days, so you could feasibly anger one, wait 3 days, anger the rest, get the merit, and get the first job back once the clock turns. (Assuming you want a city job afterward)

 

Alternatively: make an interviewer angry, take a job from another one, quit the next day and make the prior interviewer angry, and so on until the first one isn't angry and then just make the rest angry that day.  Then when the clock turns, get the job from whoever isn't angry at you.

 

NOTE; You must go back to each interviewer and talk to them and actually click the reply to get the merit to award.

That was the plan but I was a dumbass when I first started and applied to every city job, dumped the job points on Army (strength gain) and Casino (money) before joining a player company. Now I have to wait for the job points lol
