I Was Scammed by a Reporter/HoF Leader

Hello Torn.com my name is Max and I have been scammed by someone I trusted as my friend. This was a person who I trusted dearly, had made a good and genuine connection with, and who was a fantastic player in his own right, being a reporter and a leader in DOA. It started with him holding my Logistics company.

For context, for the last 2-3 years your boi Maxx has been busy grinding out high school from AP Stats to the SAT, it’s been hellish. During that time h3110 was holding my company, my very first logistics and making good money. We had an agreement where I let him hold my company that I owned and he got a salary or a split (I didn’t really mind either way), win-win.

I knew, after my literal years of IRL grinding culminating in a college acceptance, I could actively play Torn again. What I didn’t know was that I was in for a rude awakening.

I was beyond polite and had no issues waiting for him to respond, my dear friend, but he never responded. At first I was joking because I thought he was just busy, I still thought of him as a friend.

He stole my company.

I honest to god didn’t think a former EAGLE SCOUT, CHRISTIAN, HOF FACTION LEADER, AND TORN REPORTER WOULD STEAL MY MONEY AND CALL ME GREEDY.

He accuses me of “only seeing him for money” but he never responded to me or even tried to reach out! Maybe he’d know why I was not on Torn so much if he actually replied to me. But no. He just ignored me and took out an interest free loan which he never intended on paying back and blamed me asking a few times what was going on. Maybe he would have learned about my journey through high school and into college and how I turned a Torn grindset into an IRL grindset.

I thought of h3110 as a homie, but he’s just another scammin’ ho. H3110 if you’re reading this and disagree with any part of it at all, please explain your side because you sure as hell didn’t respond to me.

H3110 was a friend of mine, someone who I’ve warred with, lead elim with… this highly surprised me. Tbh I’m more disappointed in his actions than anything. 

Unfortunately for him, he decided to cross us during the worst time. It’s down season with nothing to do til Halloween. Unless he pays, he’s gonna be factionless, jobless, and okayless.

Heh, never did get much back into torn after junior year of HS.

Now even though I have spare money to spend on this game and increase my stats I just don't.

Don't take it too hard, this guy is a bitch and I'm glad I didn't open myself up to something similar. Best of luck in your future though!

I ran a company for a friend for a while, and when I was tired of it I let him know so he could deal with it. I didn't just... steal it for myself.

The mental gymnastics some people go through to justify being shitty... it's sad

That genuinely sucks, forreal man. I hate seeing ANYONE scammed, but it's stuff like this that really takes the cake....

There are people on this game right now that I WOULD absolutely trust with my company. I would be absolutely devastated if one of my friends did something like this.
