I couldnt agree more. I mean seriously, having to war for a whole 12 hours because the enemy is utilizing game mechanics to fight when they have an advantage and not to when they don't, all for a measly $10 - 15 billion in weapons and armor caches. It's just madness.

HD0G [2005521]

oh cmon, it was only ten hours, and yall were supposed to be hardcore...

some people enjoy the fighting part of fighting a war i suppose - its a suggestion forum, whats your suggestion?

A lot of people enjoy the fighting part of the war

Your suggestion, (I guess you can call it a suggestion, couldnt be bothered to actually type it out, eh?) doesn't increase the fighting part, it punishes people for having lower stats, and makes the war end quicker, meaning less fighting.

I rounded up to 12 hours because all of your wars have ended in 12 hours, most ended in substantially less. But thank you for pointing out that ours lasted 10 hours, and you think that amount of time is too long. How much did your faction make for that 10 hours of "effort"?

All that being said. Let's look at your screenshot of a chat log that you're using to suggest a change of a game mechanic. I guess my biggest question is who has to take this education class ? The whole faction? The leader?  Can any random shmoe in the faction take this education course and the whole faction can initiate these "sappers" to wreck another faction during a war.

What about all those smaller factions ? A war starting at the wrong time and 15 of their 20 members getting attacked could cause that war to end before any even wake up for the day.  Or did you remember there are factions besides the ones in Diamond rank?

sooo youre suggesting... nothing?

I typed it out the first time, but yes too lazy to type it out again, or even refine the idea. The general thesis was 'turtle countermeasures' - that was some good input though.

*edit - stats dont decide the war. activity does, if the bad guys have monsters, throw a gang of noobs at em. push push push.. if you just turtle youre going to lose, albeit slowly and painfully - the idea is to have something to do besides look at a turtle, perhaps the edu guys could function as the sappers, drive a car-bomb into the hospital and take out one badguy at the cost of hosping themselves, there are many possibilities, such as the part where it doesnt even enable unless 70% of your guys are turtling and disables at 50%

SenseiLeJuke [2680219]

oh no how dare they play it smart and turtle at time when they cant win a push. What you are suggesting is to make rw less strategical and more braindead, I dont think brother Sword would agree with that.

HD0G [2005521]

Outstanding, more good input. I dont think brother sam of the nights watch likes parsimmons on his toast.

Thanks for stopping by!

Its a suggestion forum, perhaps yall could do something clever like suggest I get bent... anything?

No ideas about RW? nothing?

They say brevity is the soul of wit, maybe just try YOU SUCK!!

JackKelly [2271177]

I'm not suggesting anything. I'm discussing your screenshot of a suggestion. Honestly, if you aren't even going to put forth enough thought to refine your idea, why bother posting it? Did you really expect this to be made part of the game, or did you just want to complain about an enemy factions ability to not med out and walk directly into a wall of your bullets?

How can the game differentiate between a faction that is turtleing, and a faction that is pushing, but losing? The end result is the same and both will subjected to rapid points loss.

Oh really? Stats don't decide the war, activity does?  Just throw a gang of noobs at the big guys. Because big guys are known for just sitting still and letting a bunch of noobs widdle their life down 25 points at a time.. Activity matters, yes, but to pretend stats don't is absurd.

If you turtle until you have a numerical advantage, or at least untii your top end comes online, you have a far better chance of winning than if you just keep medding out for the enemy. Like why would anyone do that?

And none of the following makes any sense.

", perhaps the edu guys could function as the sappers, drive a car-bomb into the hospital and take out one badguy at the cost of hosping themselves,"

SenseiLeJuke [2680219]

What a bad edit. Iam from ODB (one of the best faction when it comes to activity in wars). and let me tell you there is a ceiling where activity can get you. For example we managed to beat faction that on avarage has 4 times our stats (1.5b vs 6b) with our superior tactics and activity. But i think this was the ceiling because we almost didnt pull it of. And if we as one of most active factions strugle with it i dont think someone else can do better job againts againts someone with more than 4 times their stats. So yes activity decidec SOME wars. But you need stats as much as you need activity.

PFaah your jedi  mind tricks dont work on me. im only 248 upvotes from having the devs reject it.

once again this is a suggestion forum, if you dont wanna suggest nothin, go flame out somewhere else.. the dumbest thing you can do for a suggestion you dont like is draw attention to it/
