Ever wondered when would be the best time to post a thread for maximum engagement? Well, you could probably have figured it out from my previous threads (here and here) on when the denizens of Torn sleep, but here's some more data.
I've pulled all the threads and posts from the last 90 days in GD forum. Then tried to figure out which weekdays and which hours of the day see the most activity in the forums, measured by number of new posts. Turns out, weekends are pretty dead, especially Saturdays. The best time to post something if you want quick engagement is TCT afternoon on workdays, especially on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Those bright flares you see are a couple of high traction threads, but they don't skew the overall view enough to bother isolating them imo.
Another active forum for threads and discussions is Faction Discussion. Though this one is probably super obvious...
Basically a ton of activity after matchmaking on Tuesday, then some shit talk during wars and GGs after war on Friday - Saturday afternoons.
TLDR: General Discussion forum is most active when EU people get off work and US people wake up, so around 16-21 TCT. Faction Discussion forum is comparatively dead, except for right after matchmaking when opponents place bets and talk shit to each other before the war.
