hello! marriage has a lot of merits, plus you can split the cost of the property with your spouse if youre renting or if one has the property, other can pay upkeep.
to find people to marry, you can check the properties forum or personals in newspaper. i wouldnt recommend personals though, they are a weird bunch lol
you can also ask someone from your faction to marry you

just ask around your faction, theres a bunch of singles there, if you go to the paper personals they will ask for feetpics, having a few in your gallery might help

Mostly merits for wedding anniversaries.
Also the spouse can split the rent when renting a PI, very helpful.
