What will happen to unused tokens when the items are shifted from the token shop to the points shop?

Token shop won't close anytime soon, so I think they will inform us whenever that will happen.
so would that mean that things like hair styles will remain available in both the token shop and the point shop?
or would the token shop only have items not migrated over to the points shop?
I'm pretty sure from what Ched has been saying over the last year that they plan to close the token shop completely. My assumption is that you'll lose any unused tokens then.
It's all just assumptions and guess work at this point, but my personal recommendation would be to spend any tokens you have while you can.
Appreciate everyone's guesses/assumptions....
I was hoping that part of the new method of advance notice would also include an official answer to questions posted in the Q n A section rather than just guesses /assumptions from the general population
Much more likely they'll get turned into points of whatever value they consider comparible, imo
