In short, attack and leave people for most XP, XP is hidden because, surprise.

Wah? There sum sort of guide section on another part of interwebs?
Huh.
The XP bar is not visible. But attacking players etc. does gain you XP. There is XP in torn but there isn't a bar showing you how much XP you have.
