Bounty too successful?? Update: perma fed

Update: today, on the 4th day of their inactivity they were perma fedded….hmmm guess I don’t have to atone for my sins after all…

I’m writing this confession with a deeply regretful heart:

I bountied a noob into quitting Torn: TonyaGrotto

It was only a very minor thing, really. Player joined faction, after recruit status was up, they took a Xanax in the armory meant for stacking which coincided with a day after their recruit status.

Player didn’t make a single hit for chain. I nicely asked for the Xanax back to see their reaction. They left the faction.

I had faction put 40 bounties on them after they said I was uncaring towards a noob.

Said player has been offline for 3 days since bounty started.

Anyway, I’m sorry Ched, for causing you to lose a player. I’m sorry bogie, for not realizing the power of bounties. I’m sorry to the Torn community for bullying a noob.

I’ll atone for my sins by getting that Sacrificial merit in the Church, and I’ll get spiritual counselor from Father Hiram Williams to work thru this guilt.

Ye 40 bounties over a single xanax and lost noob is a bit excessive. 1 xan is a cheap price to pay for losing a low/no hitter

You invest too much in details and fck up the bigger picture. 125 days. That is 17 wars. You should be chilling in gold by now with that set up. Are you selling war loses or something? It doesn't make any sense at that size and with those scores tho.

Next time just send your outcasts to my farms. 1m / hit flat rate, 2.5m a day as minimum wage during war, and free xanax.

its a shame he got this many upvotes for trying to f**k on a new player who ended up just wanting to learn the game 

people like him should really not be leaders of noobs if they'll put the effort back on the noobs for every little mistake, what a damn shame and a potential loss to the community

Hazing the noobs is a time honored tradition in Torn, good job OP! 

How did you draw that conclusion? It sounds like the noob in question ghosted OP so to me no indication that they just wanted to learn the game. Maybe with the right training the noob would be able to become something one day, but they are probably more likely to just try out the game and stop playing after a short time. Isn't that what recent forum analyses on the player community has suggested is more common?
