As for the steps:
Buy a ring,
Go to items, click ring, click "propose" and type the person's name.
After the person accepts, you can go to the Church and request your friends to witness.
After a friend agrees, say yes, kiss, and start your married life in Torn!
This is Torn. Don't be so prehistoric. There is no such thing as a gender decision needed when arranging a marriage here. It's purely a merit and rent agreement. Nobody is going to come along and question why your Torn spouse is also male, so you now have a much wider base of potential partners.
Oh and also definitely invite friends if you're getting wed. As many as you can find. Most of them send wedding gifts so it can be quite lucrative.
Unless it's my former faction leader, however. That git just sent me a Trout.
