It would be interesting to see how many of the "active" players spend more than 30 minutes per day as well, but that's near impossible to measure for us normal api users I guess.

Yeah that would be impossible I guess to achieve.
You'll need unlimited api call and a database just to update keep on logging all user activities within a 24 hour span continuously.

Although Torn does have all the data. It would be great if they either add a way to check the average daily time of users, or maybe release a post with those data.

This is my story, logged in for the first time and within days was invited to a faction that helped me through the first few weeks, wars and progress.

Well, the game itself advertises it as you play mostly 20 30 min in a game but everyday, then after months it msy become enjoyable and all :)

You may or not be aware, most of those invalid IDs were lost in a server crash that erased about a months worth of data and game play. A bunch of folks in the ID 420,000 range had to restart after the crash.

Well that depends, how are the dynamics of torn going to change for the casual players? Are the torn grinders just going to stay as the elitest governors of the game. Or will we attempt to blend as a society. And at what point do we separate casual gameplay from inactivity? There's a lot of pieces to consider but if I am too bold to assume. The grinders are going to be the elitests and the casuals will just keep rotating in and out as the citizens of torn while the grinders are the government over the unspoken rules of engagement and gameplay. So in the grand scheme of things the growth rate doesn't effect anything because game grinders are the ones who run the game as the government, and the casuals are just the citizens who reside within. And it all creates flow and economy between the classes. (So game grinders are essentially the 1% and the politicians. The casuals are the workforce and they balance the economy between the 1%) So what's our government structure? Monarch Faction family is probably our torn government... Lol don't come for me. Westworld clearly has the biggest following. If you need to know who the 1% is well just go look in HOF under the networth tab for the players with the most monetary value.

Oh ! I forgot about that ! That does make sense.
I just figured when I saw the number and the time of those ID's that it was a wave of maybe multi's and stuff and they went hard on them.
