If you guys are mugging in RWs you should probably worry about learning the basics of warring and not so much about cutting deals.

I would suggest teaching them how to make chains, that should improve the communication between all of you. Plenty of inactive players in all stat tiers. You'll be able to get them to do almost anything when you can consistently make 50 length chains as a team.
