Has anyone actually read through all of these? There's like 100 pages or more all together of dense, legalistic language. I was a bit disturbed to learn, although I probably should not have, that Torn is selling my personal info to marketers and that I agreed to that at some point in time in the past. Just curious.

This isn't correct. Torn isn't selling any info to marketers. We have a section in there that displays cookies which may confuse people, it's automatically generated, with much of it not actually being from Torn but in some cases images …

so you're telling me that you've read every ToS for every site you've signed up for, but not Torn? If not, get reading.
I do check the privacy policies and don't sign up for sites with bad policies, but I do not read every word of every section. No one has the time for that and if I did it would just confirm that crap shape the world is in that every place is basically out to have its way with you

k so you bother reading privacy policies, and think there's a point if you're just going to skim it anyway, all while saying it's a waste of time? On top of a lot of larger companies not even being transparent with what they do with your information.
Imagine if there were some magic tools that existed to protect your privacy online, imagine how much time it would save.

Not intentionally but we've certainly seen scrapers trying, we have our Cloudflare systems set up to block as much of that as possible.
People defending selling info because other sites do it too give me that "Everyone else beats their wives, so it's ok to beat mine" energy.
