Hi,

 

We consistently received about 10+ faction applications a day. To be honest we had way too many and the waiting list was long. We didn't have a co-leader. 

 

We then had a member join and become our co-leader. The applications drastically reduced to maybe 1-2 a day. I assumed it was because we weren't accepting many applications previously.

 

However, out Co left shortly after, only a couple weeks, and as soon as they've left we've gone back to receiving 10+ applications a day.

 

Is this a coincidence? Perhaps less people were joining the game during that time?

Or is there something strange with the algorithm that is putting our faction higher up because we don't have a co leader?

I can only imagine the co-leader joining led to different class of players seeing your faction on the “Factions looking for members” list. This is a dynamic list generated for each section of players, so it is entirely plausible that a strong member joining resulted in fewer new players seeing your faction in the list and joining up.

Interesting. So the list of factions the player see's are ones which match them more than others. A strong co may have led to the faction being seen by less new members and more strong members, and thus less applications?

no one is applying to my faction meaning it is not available for new players in suggestion is it that our members have high rate so being the reason for no suggestion or because i have no coleader    

please help am a bit lost here
