Was elimination any good? It was removed so I never got to experience it, but was it anything special? I just want to know if I missed out on anything.

iirc the last few years of it were rigged. Still fun to take part in (sort of a 12-way pseudo ranked war, with an additional layer of timing your attack waves to just before the 15-minute life ticks) but a bit disheartening to know on day 0 which teams are going to be top 3-4 (hint: it's the ones with monarch members leading the team), at which point it's less "your team is fighting all the others to Win the Competition" and more "you're just trying to out-hit as many people on your team as possible before you die, so you get 10 good boy points at the end"

Honestly, Elims was hands down my favorite part of the game. Yeah, there’s a lot of politicking involved, but that’s honestly what makes it fun. It’s not like everything’s rigged from the start, just tipped a bit in favor for certain teams. Plus, all the networking you get to do through it - whether you win or lose - it was just a blast! Even if you were on a team that got stomped early on, someone who tries really hard (both through hits and communication) regardless of what happens just makes a good impression on everyone.
