Torn Faction Racing

If I could have a minute of your time please.

We are just about to launch a new racing series specifically for factions to race against each other.

We are testing things out at the momemt and hope to launch fully after JLT.

Basic principle is to have 4 racers per faction, each within a certain racing skill slab, to ensure we do not get factions with 4 racers of high rs.

My question is do you think your faction would be interested in taking part? A series will consist of 10 races of 20 laps each?

The poll is just to gauge the level of interest.

I think it's a great idea! I just need to get my faction to be more involved in racing first.

I will force 3 of my members to race. I think I can get 4 people to do this ;)

When exactly do you want this to happen? We have people from all timezones, after all.

that's to be decided, of course your not going to cater for everyone but hopefully we can set the races up early enough to ensure those who want to take part can do.

Ok, this is an  update from this current  test season we are running at the moment, after 4 races

1st. Vault 76 - 65 points

2nd. Nuclear Fusion - 55 points

3rd. Ducks of Quacken - 54 points

4rd. Torn 4 Life - 53 points

5th - Epic Mafia - 43 Points

6th - Dominion of Crime - 39 points

We are still in the testing phase so these 6 Factions will finish off the other 6 races in the series.

The next season starting just after xmas will  be 10 races of 20 laps and consists of faction teams made up  of the following racers 

Grade D - RS 0 - 14.99

Grade C - RS 15 - 29.99

Grade B - RS 30 - 49.99

Grade A - RS 50 and above 

If you don't have a RS 50 in your faction then you can for example have 2 Grade B racers but nominate 1 for Grade A.

We can have a total of 25 teams for this next series so we need another 19 Faction Teams

If you are interested please post with your faction name and we will enter your team, please ensure you have 4 racers per faction. We will ask for actual racers a bit nearer the time 

All factions can enter but only one 4 racer team per faction.

The races will take place on a Wed at 16:00 tct for 10 straight weeks

2nd. Nuclear Fusion - 109 points

3rd. Ducks of Quacken - 100 points

4rd. Vault 76 - 97 points

5th - Epic Mafia - 77 Points

  We will now open the competition for new teams for Season 2, so either send me a message with your interest or just post onto this thread.  We have also started receiving donations for next seasons prize fund. 

So the Torn Faction Racing circus trundled around to the commerce race track on Wednesday, the 7 teams had been battling it out for 7 previous races.

1st. Nuclear fusion - 149 points

2nd. Torn 4 Life - 143 points

3rd. Ducks of Quacken - 137 points

4rd. Vault 76 - 127 points

5th - Epic Mafia - 106 Points

6th - Dominion of Crime - 92 points                                7th - The Pagans - 59 points

Nuclear fusion slightly extending their lead over torn 4 life from 4 points to 6 points.

 Ducks of quacken after a strong showing in the last race reducing the gap to the leaders from 20 points to 12 and overtaking vault 76 into 3rd place.

2 more races to be run around 2 islands and hammerhead all to play for, getting your 4 faction racers to the starting line is key here.

If any faction is interested in joining just let us know, prize pot at the moment is 20m. Donations are very welcome :)

Great idea but a limit of 4 racers to Represent the faction is kinda low. doesn't really involve the faction as a whole.
