This game has changed massively since I first started playing. Though a few people have left over the years many have stayed and more have joined over the past 2 decades. Everyone has to adapt to changes in their life, if they are to make it through. When you get things you don't like, you have 2 choices, adapt and move on, complain until you get tired of complaining and adapt and move on
I hope everyone gets a chance to use these changes to their best advantage.

Ive played mmorpgs for 20yrs now, nothing surprising about that update. Every time devs change something veteran players find something to complaing about. Been there, done that myself. But I think that update is step in the right direction and that is decreasing inflation. Inflation has killed most small mmorpgs ive played. Taxes may hurt new players more than veterans, but you know what hurts them even more? End game gear and consumables with inflated prices.
From looking at all the bitching and complaining about the bitching and complaining, or how shitposts and the trolls have changed, or whatever else you want to bitch about this week ultraman, damn get a life.
So I have been reading GD a while, and there have always been changes. You can argue they are good or bad (depending on how it directly affects you), but at least he is making threads that force you to adapt to a new way to shitpost. Sure people in the old days had it easier to troll noobs, and sure that isn't fair to new players, but this game is about longevity. The longer you play the better you get. Unless you are a whale there is no way to get gud quickly. And who cares about those whales? Let them make their garbage threads so you can steal some free karma. How many threads are shit these days (or at the very least don't bombard you with ads every 5 sec)? I keep posting this dogshit because it doesn't become boring over time like other posts. New noobs, new p&l discussions, etc... Just like life, some threads are great, and some suck.
For those of you saying Ched needs to learn how to make a poll, f**k this I can’t be arsed to do this for the meme it’s so dry.
In closing, either go make your own shitposts with whatever you think is better, or STFU. I'll be here another 2222069420 years.

There is some merit in having player's express their opinions right?
Plus sometimes it is not even about the update. but more about how the update was rolled out.
examples: chat 2.0 during Halloweek / disaster to release a chat update during the busiest event of the year no matter how long you have tested it
pawn shop removal: quiet stealthy with no comms or follow back, just empty promises in the forums or reverting the change if the community was unhappy.
You can ignore the whiners and focus on the essence and its not all if you don't like the game go build your own, otherwise we would never see suggestions or improvements being added.
All jokes aside, the torn community is actually extremely tame in comparison to other video game communities like war thunder
If torn wasn't a good game, then the community wouldn't be banding together this much about a change they think is unfair. With that being said:

Ultraman is coming up on 1k days now in this shell, he was a valuable member of ME and now is a valuable member of MM so f**k off about all he does is swap factions. Not one person in your faction has 1k days with you, so with your logic are all of your members just cock jumpers too?

You've also spent countless hours in the forums trash talking Bogie, Ched, other players with your nonesense that no one wants to read about, making you one of the biggest clowns on this game so actually you would be doing the public a bigger favour by shutting your mouth, Ultraman will say whatever the f**k he wants to say.
You are implying that reduction of inflation makes stuff more accessible to new players. This is not necessarily true. If you income falls faster than prices, you can afford less stuff than before. And this is exactly what is happening here to new players.

It would be different if the posts were actually engaging, discussing particular areas of the changes rather than 90% of them being "this sucks".
You are correct pointing out the chat 2.0 fiasco before halloween, or the pawn shop removal but Item market has been discussed on the forums for quite some time. Is it what everyone expected? No, probably not. Is it going to be completely functional within the game? Yeah.
Even suggestions gets cluttered with stupid responses that only gets supported because everyone is unnecessarily upset and riding the tidal wave of dissent. People are making suggestions that completely eliminates the use of the item market and getting support just because...

I agree with the message you're putting out, but the part where you said people will adapt to this change makes it seem an awful lot like it's set in stone, regardless of player feedback.
So are you open to potentially changing the update or are everyone's opinions falling on deaf ears?
They are just as common as the changes and the complaints about changes OP is ranting about. Nothing new.

Yea and to build on this, I guess I expected people in the game to act more rational and have genuine discussions (some do). But this is why I stay far away from the forums. Just like most other places where people can post anon, most just post whatever pops into their head without thinking it though.
And yea, I thought for a few days of what I wanted to post, and I get it. I am whining about people whining, but how else can I express my thoughts about this game?
