If the fair fight is less than 3 and greater than 0, you can calculate the battle stat score (and thus approximate range ) of the attacker
Sometimes people find out the attacker due to the ranked war weapon used. Usually only possible if the attacker has a standout ranked war weapon that is well known. Say, a high plunder or warlord percent
If you know you're going to be attacked, you can have a friend sit on your attack loader. Just load the attack page and keep an eye on the action logs. When the attacker starts fight, it'll be visible in the logs. The text will be gone as soon as the fight is finished, so your friend might miss a very quick one shot attack. Friend can also just start an attack on you. If the attacker joins the attacker, they'd definitely be unstealthed. Someone who is trying to stealth probably won't join an attack this way though.
You can use pepper spray/tear gas to reduce their dex and increase changes of them unstealthing a bit.
Tbh, most of these are deductive and finicky and rarely worth the trouble. Unless you really really want to know the name of the attacker, you should just ignore it.
Thank you I just figured if there is a way to see who annoumously bountied you I figured there would be a better way. Make it fair for everyone get rid of stealthed attacks all together I think.
If it bugs you enough you can buy someone to reveal it for you here - whether its ethical and good for the game is a whole other issue (bypassing mechanics yadda yadda, it was a whole thing lol), which caused a bunch of controversy lately when a newspaper article came out about it not too long ago lol - the thread seems to have slowed down but it doesn't look like its discontinued (they're in the process of building an external site, apparently :P)
If you know coding and how to pull the right stuff from the API you can build something similar yourself, though my coding experience is limited and I have no idea how big or small a project it would be :P Also I have no idea if you'd need multiple API keys from different people to get results in an acceptable amount of time (I assume you would given query limits)

Welcome to Torn!
You have some beefy people in your faction. If you let them know what is going on hopefully someone will be willing to track down who is causing you problems. Getting the retal on a stealth attack takes some setup but will leave the target thinking twice. For extra fun stealth the person who stealthed you. Seems like that should be a merit.
