Obviously a scripted war but I still thought it was interesting to see a war score this high especially chaining on each other.

They also manage to get exactly the same score at the end yet the system still determined a winner which was interesting.

Really does go to show that the cache loot doesn't increase that much from a war that scores 15k vs a nearly 300k scoring war

For those messaging me about the Cache value script: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/473564

I believe it's made by an SMTH member, seems to work fine, needs PUBLIC API key entered manually here.

Make line 18 look like shown below, should work.

EDIT: Decimals Matter. Final score was 145,103.81 vs 145,103.69, oddly enough though the system did some funny rounding on this page:

I'm glad you posted this before the scammer posted something about this and how it took them 32 hours to translate due to their busy schedule running a fortune 500 company irl and on Torn.

Rouge [2873463]

It might've chosen Phoenix Nirvana because they led the most. Unless there's hidden decimals that it chose off of.

-Mike-Ox- [281480]

After looking further, there is decimals, makes sense, cause even when attacking normally respect values have decimals

It's not exactly experiment. Farms have been doing this since last year.

I am surprised they pushed it to 5 days instead 4 days like the others tho.

This we all know few weeks after latest rw up date. That's why now decay points can be or is being monetized among farms.

I preached about this over n over in certain discord chanel for cache farms (nope, not mine) since first month of new up date.

But some factions seem to have this stupid mindset "lets max out score to get maximum rewards" then conceal it with a statement "oh we are having fun".

Then they get up set why their pay/hit gets lower n lower and sell their factions after losing members who are burning out after being asked to make so many hits every week.

No, after reaching certain threshold, it makes no difference. ANd if you think deeper, that decay meter worth money if you calc it based on ppl pay/ hit. Let's start to be creative about the decay meter.

It kills me to see my cache trading customers say "sorry dede we only get 1 cache" after fighting for 3-4 days.

But then again factions bronze-gold are mostly new players. They  don't care about stats, energy price, growth, etc.

There is no need to zero the opponent, you sillies. Monetize the f**k out of the decay meter. Do something with it to gain more money for your members or at least give them more time to train.

But so hard to explain it in English unless there is an example like smth case.

Oh brother give it a rest!

This thread did not need some in depth nose dive about cache farms and how you run your farm scam caches. We’ve seen you post about it on 69 other threads

Ark [2744779]

We just finished a war last night and got paid less then our last war even though it lasted way longer

DedeSiregar [2430598]

it's not about cache farming dummy

Again the arrogance of hof faction players like you got the best in you.

How many hof factions in diamond maximising score too and then their 75-100 players get shitier pay outs than a platinum 0 farmers?

if you shove your arrogance down your throat, maybe you don't need to wait an SMTH to show you that no it makes no difference.

Except the HoF know that the longer the war goes on, the less profitable it is. That's literally common sense. This isn't the first war that has had a stupidly high score.

It's been the same way before and after the rework.

This isn't anything ground breaking. It's why a lot of factions will throw in the towel after a drags on too long as it's just not worth it.

Vice versa, alot of facs don't care about the payout they just want the win.

For example, we term when we're training for the easy payouts and then when it's real war time, the pay per hit is the last thought as its all about winning.

-Mike-Ox- [281480]

Yes we've seen high scoring 100k wars. Point was to say hey look, these guys took it to a further extreme and saw the same results.

Most people understand and could have guessed this would be the result, but now we know for certain because they did it.

Additionally, best guess for is the reason they did this was likely more for respect gained from a RW, maximizing Halloween chain time with highest respect earning potential

Derivative [2209422]

I understand, but I feel like it was already certain.

Someone with 100k score getting the same rewards as a winner with 20k score. Why would 140k vs 100k be any different.

-Mike-Ox- [281480]

When I said 100k war I meant combined score, this was a 290k war overall. We actually haven't seen one this big. But yes many of us would have predicted this result I don't argue that

Derivative [2209422]

Yeah, highest we've seen that I recall is 160k combined. And the rewards were no different to a 20k vs 5k war. It's pretty brutal

I understand why rewards don't scale as it could be abused, but at least some diminishing rewards would be good.

Lenin [2199004]

better all that energy spent in exchange for those prizes, rather than before, where a war could have a single prearranged hit for billions in rewards.

Beerson [1576144]

Please ask AI to editorialize your writing, trying to read this shit gives me aneurism and I'm still not sure what you're trying to say half the time.

Cream [3138805]

There's nothing to do with loots

the only reason doing this is just dont wanna fugg up with others and farm respect

Edit: also longer ED

losing respect

Your faction will lose 25% of the respect gained by an opposing faction if one of their members attacks yours. This can potentially be devastating at the higher bonuses, so watch out!
