Welcome to DRUG CHECK! Torn's newest game

The rules are simple... I send you one random drug in exchange for one bank check. Wtf is a bank check?! It's an item made by the forgery crime, or you can buy it on the Item Market (https://www.torn.com/page.php?sid=ItemMarket#/market/view=search&itemID=1339) for about 180k. The game is similar to opening a drug pack but cheaper, with a chance to win any one of Torn's drugs (including some of that delicious Love Juice ready for Valentine's Day)!

PLUS every day for the first 30 days I'll send ONE FREE XANAX to one player at random. This is completely separate to Drug Check and completely free to enter, all you have to do is like and comment on this thread. Max one entry per player.

Why? I'm on Torn almost all day every day and enjoy keeping myself busy. I'm also a maths and spreadsheet geek irl so love the challenge of keeping this viable despite fluctuating market values. I stand to make about 10k per bank check when I have a networth of over 1bn, in other words I'm not doing it for the money.

Approximate probabilities of winning each drug

Vicodin: 10%
Ketamine: 10%
Speed: 10%
Cannabis: 10%
Shrooms: 10%
PCP: 10%
Opium: 10%
Ecstasy: 10%
LSD: 10%
Xanax: 9%
Love Juice: 1%

Probabilities will vary based on each drug's market value and results will be compensated to guarantee a 90% payout long term.

How to play

Send me up to ten bank checks (https://www.torn.com/page.php?sid=ItemMarket#/market/view=search&itemID=1339) with each one buying one independent random drug. If I'm online, I'll draw your results straight away and send you your winnings. If I'm offline, it'll be done within 24 hours. Of course if I miss them for any reason please feel free to chase me up (preferably before kicking off and bountying me to death)! Max ten bank checks per player per day.

I'll post all the results in this thread so you can see it's legit. I have no reason to scam anyone and create enemies for myself, it's a lot of effort for the little money I stand to make.

Still sounds scammy, only xanax and Love Pot are a higher value, how do you choose "randomly".

A drug pack contains 10 drugs, 10x checks is 1.8 mil. with a 9% chance at xanny, and 1% at Love Pot you stand to make an exceptional profit, and players make a substantial lost 90% chance to get make 1/5th the value? 

a drug pack is a straight 50/50 shot. 

yours is a 9/1.

I agree it sounds scammy which is why I tried to address as much in the op as possible. To address your other concerns/misconceptions:

Forget 10 drugs/10 checks as the game is only for 1 drug/1 check. If players want they can repeat the game 10 times.

1 check costs about $180k and gets you 1 drug.

The EV (expected value) back from that $180k is $141k at time of writing, so a 78% payout. In other words I stand to make about $39k per check BEFORE additional costs and variance.

I'm giving away 1 free xanax every day, worth $837k. So $837k/$39k (the profit per check) = I need to run the game 22 times before making any sort of profit, prior to that I'm losing money.

Where you've misunderstood the game or jumped to the wrong conclusion is:

Yes 90% of the time the player loses money, but the most they can lose is about $179k. The 10% of the time they win money they win either $657k or over $5m. It's like buying a lottery ticket. Most of the time you lose, but when you win you win big.

I also think you've forgotten that anyone who repeats the game up to 10 times could win Xanax or even Love Juice all 10 times, the games are completely independent of each other.

But that is the fun of it. I went in with my eyes open to what I can win and lose. How is it any different to the casino? And so what if he wins? It is the thrill in the possibilities. If he loses everytime, why would anyone be interested in running events? Whilst some are altruistic, not everyone have the means to be 100% altruistic. In every game of chance, there are winners and lovers. Relax and have fun! 😀
