Yeah, I just can personally never trust an admin that is also in a faction no matter how good of a person they seem to be. Power can always lead to corruption and they are privy to information that could give factions they are in an advantage. Now am I saying they take advantage of this? No, but how would I know? 

Can we have clarity on the level of "blackmail" that occurred. Thats a very large accusation to make, and I am well aware none of the accused are saints, and probably did tow the line at times, to what extent was irl blackmail ensued.

 Klash isn't smart enough to tie his shoelaces let alone track down your irl aliases and utilize your own intimate messages for his benefit/ to threaten you. Ovoxo afaik made a mere comment alluding to info that was already leaked to people.

What is the precedent and what can be done to avoid such things, if there is in fact tangible proof of blackmailing then fair but this just seems like a kneejerk personal decision. I can understand why of course, but I still am unsure that those emotions warrant this punishment to all 4 of these individuals

For those downvoting, I know you believe eveything fed to you without proof, I am merely asking for clarity I do not support such actions but I also do not blindly accept everything told to me is true just because they're in a position of power. Bogie, I cannot express how I feel about how this affected you personally, but remember there are a million more people out there that think this is abhorrent to the core.  My mum committed suicide nearly 2 years ago now.

I don't care what 'faction' they're part of, that don't matter, they are scum, vile, and so many other words I can get banned for.  

I am in shock, I cannot express how sorry I am for you, bogie, but am so pleased that you have come through this and removed them from the same game I play.  I do hope the authorities take full action against all of them, I for one would be in the public gallery for that!

What has happened to bogie and PJ is absolutely unacceptable. 

I know first hand how malicious this group can be, and I can only imagine the mental struggle you have been put through. 

While people here make memes, because that’s how this community copes, there is a genuine disgusting act from these people.

I hope the UK authorities treat this seriously and that those involved are appropriately charged.

Totally speaking hypothetically here, but there are certain types of people (women but also men), who go after powerful yet vulnerable people. first form a relationship, betray for personal gain, then repeat. some do it for intelligence agencies, some now do it in onlines games *shrug*

I rarely agree with things you post but this hits the nail on the head. 

People in positions higher up do this and also get in trouble for it. Typically there is no workplace out there that would allow a boss to date someone lower. 

Need to have more preventative measures in place to make sure stuff like this never happens again

Why should 2 consenting adults disclose a private relationship? bogie had nothing to do with Julie's employment, he should have probably disclosed things with Ched at the time but no one else needed to know.

And are you really blaming the victim for not giving in to their blackmailers? 

The fact that the investigation was lead by officers and not bogie says there was more than enough to warrant their fedding. 

bogie and I have had our differences over the year but I've never had anything personal against him, I don't agree with all his decisions but under him Torn has grown significantly. The fact that these scum were allowed to stick around for so long shows the restraint and professionalism he has.

Torn is a game, and to see the actions of those involved is pure disgrace and disgusting. I'm glad staff have done what they did, no one can and should condone the actions done by these 4 players. Thank you to the staff who continue to fight everyday to make torn a better place.

The sad part is Julie trusted a friend in torn who blabbed her personal ongoings instead of holding her mouth zipped shut like she should have done in the first place. Hemi was her trusted person. On top of blabbing it caused real world harm. She deserves to sit there as much because without her information to other parties most of what happened would have never transpired in the first place.

Reading oxo comments on that thread it sounds like he knows exactly what he saying with malice and knows exactly what the consequences would be

If they are taking legal action I don't belive they can reveal the details to the public before its over, or at least will have been advised not to I expect
