For Black I play the Caro and QGD I've been thinking about learning some Sicilian lines tho.

A variation on Petrov’s defense, leaves the queen exposed in the middle of the board and exposes your king due to the lost central pawns.
what's your elo
Usually don't play e4 e5 for black or white because I don't like to let white choose the opening and I play d4 as white. However, for the Petrov, I just think there is more fun things to play.
In blitz I hover around 1000 haven't played rapid much because I'm playing a club tournament that's 5min blitz with 2 second increment.
Cool, do you recommend the Caro? My “openings” right now are the Stafford and Englund. 😂 I tried KID for a bit but tended to get slaughtered 7 times out of 10.
