Yeah there's several ways to get your nerve up.
As said above you can use alcohol. The best option for you is buying 100 beer at bits and bobs, using 24 of those to max up your booster cooldown and selling the rest for a bit of profit.
You can use 30 points (worth roughly 1m) to refill your nerve bar. The higher your maximum nerve is, the more cost effective refills become so ideally join a faction with more respect that has nerve upgrades because your current one is shit, other than that the nerve will just go up with your crime skill just for doing crimes.
You can use cannabis to instantly get 8-12 nerve with about an hour of cooldown, though you should absolutely be using xanax instead.
And there's also CBD stock that increases your nerve by 50 every 7 days if you have about 138m invested in there.
