It is not against the rules to ask for in-game currency.
But it is quite rightly seen as begging and frowned upon by the general community. You won't make friends going around being a beggar.
There are tons of helpful and well written guides in the Tutorials and Guides forum section on how to earn your own way in the game and gain the respect of others instead.
I dont recommend it. slut some losses for 2 or 3 days to get started if you need to.
If you do beg or ask for money only do it in GD

To beg for in game currency no... But most of us will think less of you for it, we worked very hard to get what we have.
You can sell your bounty slots, a few losses(do this one very gingerly you sell too many and it's kinda a waste), buy Beer from bits and bobs and sell them on the market for a profit.
DO NOT go to the casino if you're not 1m% sure that you can count cards or something else and if it just seems like a really fun thing, it's there to remove money from the game.
