I just finished cracking the hardest code I have ever done, it was a 9 dot/square crack. I finished the crack and then went I solved it said I failed. How do you fail when you solved it?

You cracked the password, but were thwarted when you attempted to exploit the system using the password. It happens.

You decoded the password but when you went to actually crack the code and take funds, you were caught and failed.
bigger the passwords, higher the risk of being caught I believe.

What is your skill level?
If low I wouldnt crack the 9 encryption levels just yet. You could do the bruteforcing not the actual cracking when is ready.
Some people forget that if you guess characters you are not building your crime xp as much as you would have if you bruteforce characters.
Also crack the bottom tier ones before the highest encryption possible.

In my experience crime skill doesn't have any impact on the strength of passwords you can crack. I have 2 fails in cracking, and both happened after 100 skill, and both on passwords with no encryption.
Must be very bad luck then. Whatever fails I had I think were before 100
Well I have another 9 dotter I will try again and see how it goes.
