Crime 2 0 was allegedly in development for years. This year they have released 2 crimes. One of which (scamming) is reminiscent of a 2004 era miniclip game, I could have paid a programmer from fiver 10 dollars to make that in a week.

The devs of www dot torn dot com need more time to properly develop these crimes. I suggest they slow down the release of new crimes to one every 2 or 3 years so that we can all have a truly thrilling crime experience in the future.

I'd rather they release them when they're finished. Crimes 2.0 has been a 100% success, the crimes have been great, sure it would be great if they released faster but then people would complain they don't know which crime to do, at least we have time to 100% all the noob crimes.

And if you think you could get the same quality of the crimes for $10 from Fiverr, you're an idiot.

Most people would like crimes to come out faster I for one would love to see what all 30 crimes will be but it takes time to test and balance the crimes and do the graphics with a small team.

can they do it faster I think so are they delaying release to not hit the economy all at once and crush it like a hammer on a rock yes.

i would like the new crimes to come out faster and OC 2.0 to come out but I can understand slowly testing the waters and not jumping in over there heads

it definitely feels like most of the dev time went into search for cash, the rest are pretty lackluster in terms of content lol

bootlegging, card skimming, forgery are pretty bad

They have been working on crimes 2.0 for TWELVE YEARS. let that sink in,  especially if OC2.0 is dependent on crimes to qualify for top tier crimes we may get the complete set in another 12 years

I think both Ched and all devs would be more then happy, as we would all if you bring that guy for 10$ per crime.

We can get new crimes on weekly basis then and devs that wasted time on crimes can put their work in other places. We all win. Especially that guy, 10 dolars per crime, it will change his life for sure.

Not all crimes could be done for 10 dollars but scamming certainty could. It's just a mini game where you move a slider, that's it. No item requirements, no interaction with other gameplay mechanics.

Please explain to me how complex it is to program a crime like scamming.

ChillySpunc [1905415]

They're not bad, they're just different. Ched said different crimes would appeal to different playstyles and so far, that is true. If a crime doesn't suit you it doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not for you.

Considering the previous crimes system, bootlegging, card skimming and forgery are much more in depth and engaging, vastly better than anything we had before.

Well either you want to support talented devs on fiver, or you want to get a tax writeoff by hiring incompetent people from a country with extremely cheap labor, can't have both.

Fortunately for Joe, people here will eat up the slop and defend it with their lives, because it's better then nothing, if not, the game would have already shut down, so Joe seems to be catering perfectly to his target audience, hats down to him.
