I have one scam that is stuck on a red pip:
And whenever I try to do something with it I get this error:
I can probably abandon it, but leaving it in case someone wants to troubleshoot how this could have happened.

Turn off the script that adds the white bars and try again.
That gave me a crit fail, which I probably should not have had. There is definitely some bug causing this. But never mind, next time I'll just abandon it instead.
Is the bugged crime target still present?
No, it is gone now.
I will close this then, if this happens again please refrain from interacting with the target till the devs can take a look.

I thought that I got instruction from a developer, did not realize anyone could post a follow up, not just devs. Sorry about that.
If you landed on red, why should you not have had a crit fail then?
Whatever script you used, just stopped it until you turned it off?
