I took a can of goose juice at 20 energy and my energy jumped to 27/150 at the 10 min mark i gained 5 energy like normal and it went to 32/150

Your faction has a bonus which boosts the Energy you get from Energy Cans. Thats why it gave 7e instead of the normal 5e
As mentioned above, your faction provides you with bonuses that increases the energy gain from using an Energy can.
