Hello citizens of Torn! I bring to you a new game. A game of luck.
To play this game one must simply post a story or gif as to why they should be given an E-DVD. Winners will be posted every 24 hours.
Only one entree per day per person.
Prizes:
1-3 daily edvds given at random to people who post.
Xanax handed out to those that make me laugh with stories.

I am starting a service that involves xanax and dvd's and these will help me get started. And cause I'm the first comment :)
My story is I was a 40 day old noob who didn't understand why people wasted good money on Xanax and couldn't understand how people could afford PIs.
Then there was a comp to make a slogan for the new energy drinks:

At ~10m stat total I'm going to be doing my last 99k jump soon on my dump stat... which was supposed to be my big stat but I got sidetracked 😒 But at least I can see most of my incoming attackers now 😁
Anyway, I think it would be neat to win supplies for my last jump!

I was sitting in my beanbag chair trying to get shameless while watching a Taylor Swift video, but the content just wasn't doing it. I needed to change up the atmosphere but all I have in my video collection are pirated Guy Ritchie movies and old CKY skate videos. The smut websites weren't loading on my neighbour's shitty wifi, so I decided to head down to Chen's P&P Mart and rent me a dirty video like back in the day.
I started walking down the trail and ran into my buddy's brother Matty carrying a bag full of broken electronics. I like his brother, but Matty was always a little untethered. He asked me if I had any extra copper, which I did, and after trading him a roll of wire for half a can of Budweiser I went on my way. The beer was lukewarm and barely tasted like backwash, so I considered it a good deal.
I got down to the corner and there was a commotion at the crackhouse across the street. Crackhead Fitzy was throwing furtinure out the front door while screaming about losing something. Sticky Nicki came out the back door mumbling about some drama. I figured she probably just stole whatever Fitzy was looking for.. but I don't involve myself in their business so I kept on my walk down the sidewalk.. I passed by Drunk Isaac's place but he wasnt outside so I didn't stop in.
I walked into the P&P Mart and Chen's wife was cleaning the shelves. We chatted for a minute - she joked about retiring and spending next winter somewhere warmer. Nice lady. She started telling me about the bread on sale so I walked away to the movie section in the back corner. The adult section only had 4 movies, so I picked the newest looking one. I couldn't even tell you what it's called. Chen was at the till and he made some conversation. He pointed out some items on display that I wasn't interested in, then asked me a few questions. He's Vietnamese or something and doesn't speak a lick of English so I mostly nodded in agreement as he tried to make polite conversation. Nice guy. He rang in my porno movie rental and a pack of Zig Zags and I headed out the door.
I was walking by the alley and I heard a car door close, then saw a hooker get out of the back seat of on old Mercury. It looked like John Candy's car from that movie Uncle Buck. The hooker walked towards me and I realized it was Sticky Nicki, stuffing a $20 bill into her bra and popping a breath mint. She slurred when she talked and asked if I want to go into the bushes to 'have some fun'. Luckily I didn't even have time to tell her to f**k off, because some old man walking down the sidewalk piped up that he wanted to have some fun, so the two of them went off into the bushes...
Only a few steps further I was surprised when some methhead on one of those electric scooters flew by me on the sidewalk and knocked everything out of my hand. My change fell into the snow, the zig zags landed in a puddle and my porno DVD landed on the road where it slipped into a sewer drain. I tried to run after the scooter but that tweaker didn't even slow down and clearly had lots of juice in his ebike battery.. I got home empty handed, pissed that I have no zig zags to roll with and now I have to pay to replace the store's porno movie. Shit day.
So anyways that's my story (based on real events) of why I need an eDVD. I hope it meets the criteria. Cheers!

Started playing torn exactly 3 months ago today after stumbling upon it I don’t know where 😅 It reminded me of a game I played on MySpace called Mobsters, another text based multiplayer game of which I loved.
desperate to get going, I did my best to earn as much money as possible, finding it really difficult to save up for a PI rental. How does a noob rent a PI and take daily xan? I’m just about on a level where I can commit to my rent and a daily xan, just!
With the help of my faction members and hours reading the forums, I feel a little bit more in tune with what’s going on now and it has solidified my membership of this great community.
Unluckily, on the 14th December I was rushed into hospital with a small bowel obstruction. I’m a paramedic and would have done anything to not go to hospital but I genuinely thought I was going to die! The only positive outcome of this is that I’ve been able to hit Xmas town hard although I think I came out rather short in comparison to others 🫤
It’s now 2025 and I can officially say I’m getting married next year! In the meantime, me and the significant other are now about to start trying for a little me 😁 Only now as apparently it needs to be timed into my partners work schedule as she’s a primary school teacher so she doesn’t want to miss her summer holidays!
