I have the same chances (or with 1 point difference )with someone who has a 15 year old account and double my offenses. I think something is wrong...
Obviously on a personal level I'm disappointed that I've gone from a flat 99% chance on everything until today, to ~80% for a level 7 OC.
But... for the actual engagement levels of the game, it's good. I'm a strong PA lead, but somehow one of the guys in the faction who was low #3/high #4 in PAs is higher success chance than me for some of the roles. Crime Skill at 100 for (nearly) everything, so there's some other factor going on and that's interesting to me.
And especially to get higher level OCs where success chances will be lower still presumably, I like the idea where we need people to focus on one specific aspect of the game at the expense of another to work better as a team, e.g. Player A needs to boost his strength and keep doing cracking crimes beyond CS 100 and Player B needs to increase his endurance and do forgery beyond CS 100 just to boost their ability to do a difficult scenario. A game with no tradeoffs has no depth.
I am 97 for the lvl 1 crimes now lol. But at least now we have a lot of data since it's not 99 across the bank.
I have 97 in level 1 crimes, compare our accounts xD You get 0 data :P
There'll be someone with higher and lower skill so there'll be data. But it's far more relevant for the lvl4+ ones. And I am a Nub ;)
As far as i have tested the difference is 1% , including PA lead accounts. In the previous version i found some members with big changes on the success chance , all new accounts with low CE and not every crime at 100. If we have the same success chance all over the place with 1 point difference with the difference on our CE , i think something is wrong.
I have to say that the "balancing" of this level 7 OC seems weird...
A player with years of CE from vs. someone that joined torn 2 years ago is a mere 4% difference.
Kinda starting to worry what level 8 is going to look like, let's not talk about level 10 which looms in the horizon as more of a lottery than something feasible if the "balance" scales like this already from a level 6 to 7 its gonna be "interesting"...
CE rank 16 vs CE rank 76 and 77...
CE rank 76:
CE Rank 77:
As much as I don’t like this. I understand it. The fact that it was 99% for everything all the time, always felt off.
this makes me want to do crimes more and not let my nerve just pile up because I know I can get higher percentages in OC.
however, I would like to see some metrics behind these percentages. Without that I have no idea how to increase them apart from mindlessly spamming a crime.
OT remember that Crimes 2.0 requires other variables apart from CE, might be a certain stat, work stats, or some other mischevious chedding thing.
Issue is there is something insane cap. It seems past 80 its exponential to grow and im not sure if anyone can achieve max.
Like as said above we have 1% in difference in some positions between #12 and #60. Like top players should have reasonable chances, right now 80% is new 95 it seems.
Well it appears that after like 75% success rate. It just becomes an exponential graph where a single extra percentage of success is equivalent to months and months of doing crimes.
You are just jealous that me and Ari are better players than you... 👀
Pure skill issue right there!
Yea. I already posted about it. This feels like how everything else is. Getting to 75% Weapon experience I believe requires 1000 hits compared to getting from 75 to 100 which takes another 1000 hits. (Correct me on these values if I am wrong, I don’t remember exact numbers)
same with increasing player level, crime level.
It's all in line with my plan to be the best lowest CE ranked player. 😇
77 FTW!
Inb4 a team with RGiskard, David and BodyBagger has a 50% success chance at a level 10 OC.
What if ... Each OC has their own CSR that we need to climb?
I remember reading somewhere that 70-80 CS was optimal. I imagine this is working on some kind of logarithmic scale.
This is my guess (and hope)
imagine having teams specialize in specific OCs of the same level due to skill gain. would add a ton of depth
