why would it?

Med boxes being sold on bazaars instead of market were the primary motivator of the high med item prices. However, flipping med boxes from Bazaar to item market simply wasn't very profitable, and mug risk from selling a couple med boxes is very low due to their market value. So, they've moved off bazaars and back onto item market and prices have stabilized back to pre market 2.0 prices. I do not see med boxes moving back to bazaars again.
Pre-2024 prices I'm not sure about but they were high like after market 2.0 rollout. May have been due to low pharmacy theft rates or low med stock holding.
Med prices are a barometer of war expectations. They will rise if and when the smart money becomes convinced that another world war is immanent, and will ruse further if and when it actually happens.
It will start to rise in 2 weeks. Don't worry
