What is the maximum amount of upkeep that can be due on property without affecting happiness?
(P.s.- Have been inactive for a while, not feasible for me to pay 50 mil upfront rn indue property upkeep .)

around 370K a day should keep it stable, stay around 49M in debt for no happiness reduction and be able to to forget a day or 2
Its not an amount it's a time frame, don't pay you upkeep for 30 days and you'll get bounties and mugs from Duke, yes this includes upkeep on a property you are not longer renting

Lol this is incorrect, the above information is correct, at ~10% of the property's base value you lose max happy
Now if you don't pay upkeep on a rented property, then the remaining upkeep is transferred to Duke as a loan once the rental agreement is terminated, which you'll then get visits by Duke intermittently if you don't pay your fees and whatnot, but that's not directly from upkeep shenanigans (the same would happen if you manually took a loan out and didn't pay)
