Ipecac Syrup

Just curious, what is the point of using ipecac syrup? I have some but am afraid to use it, because the description says it increases hospital time. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am a newish player, about a month of playing.

Basically hospitalizing yourself.

Used mostly when warring against other faction. Similar to the use of blood bags of different blood type than yours.

You can’t be attacked if you’re already at the hospital, that’s the logic behind items like this one.

Not a joke, if you use it for the first time it will give you an honor and thus a merit, so you could use it to gain one free merit. (You must hospitalize yourself, do not use it when already there lol)

I learned if you're already in the hospital from an attack, you can take some ipecac and once the first attack hosp timer ends, your ipecac time will start. So you don't need to wait til out of hosp to ipecac yourself if you're already in. 

Aside from wars, before doing any high value trades, you should self hosp. You can't get mugged if you are already in the hospital. Also make sure your revives are turned off. 

As said before Ipecec syrup is used to self hospitalize in war,  and for protecting your money from muggers... 

Id add that bad blood bags work great for that and is generally cheaper to use... but some people haven't taken the IV Therapy course so they can't use bad blood to self hosp... In addition to that,  one blood type can use every blood type to heal... meaning they can't use bad blood and must use ipecec syrup ^.^

my blood type is AB   so this magical drink is the only thing i can use cheaply to get myself in hospital.   (taste like shite though)
