lol, lmao
the american government posted a list of 443 government properties for sale. turns out one of them is an active CIA black site in virginia
incredible moves
Under Obama so they might as well sell it
In April 2009, CIA director Leon Panetta announced that the "CIA no longer operates detention facilities or black sites", in a letter to staff and that "[r]emaining sites would be decommissioned". He also announced that the CIA was no longer allowing outside "contractors" to carry out interrogations and that the CIA no longer employed controversial "harsh interrogation techniques".[153][154][155] Panetta informed his fellow employees that the CIA would only use interrogation techniques authorized in the US Army interrogation manual, and that any individuals taken into custody by the CIA would only be held briefly, for the time necessary to transfer them to the custody of authorities in their home countries, or the custody of another US agency.
Europe is at a critical turning point in its history. The American shield is crumbling, Ukraine risks being abandoned, Russia strengthened.
Washington has become the court of Nero, a fiery emperor, submissive courtiers and a ketamine-fueled buffoon in charge of purging the civil service.
This is a tragedy for the free world, but it is first and foremost a tragedy for the United States. Trump's message is that there is no point in being his ally since he will not defend you, he will impose more customs duties on you than on his enemies and will threaten to seize your territories while supporting the dictatorships that invade you.
The king of the deal is showing what the art of the deal is all about. He thinks he will intimidate China by lying down before Putin, but Xi Jinping, faced with such a shipwreck, is probably accelerating preparations for the invasion of Taiwan.
Never in history has a President of the United States capitulated to the enemy. Never has anyone supported an aggressor against an ally. Never has anyone trampled on the American Constitution, issued so many illegal decrees, dismissed judges who could have prevented him from doing so, dismissed the military general staff in one fell swoop, weakened all checks and balances, and taken control of social media.
This is not an illiberal drift, it is the beginning of the confiscation of democracy. Let us remember that it took only one month, three weeks and two days to bring down the Weimar Republic and its Constitution.
I have faith in the strength of American democracy, and the country is already protesting. But in one month, Trump has done more harm to America than in four years of his last presidency. We were at war with a dictator, now we are fighting a dictator backed by a traitor.

Oh well. 🤷🏻♂️ Maybe it’s time for Europe to step up.
Trump told Nato leaders years ago they were not meeting their obligations of 2% and to do it and people whined that he was being mean to Nato allies and when Putin invaded Ukraine they had to scramble to find tanks and vehicles to send to Ukraine
they were like hey Germany why you not send vehicles and the germans couldnt admit publicly half their shit was broken with no spare parts in storage.
Diidnt even have enough tents ffs

The German parliament's military commissioner has published a report sharply critical of Germany's combat-readiness. The problem comes amid the country's increasing involvement in military missions abroad.
Germany's military has deteriorated in recent years amid budget cuts and poor management, according to a report published on Tuesday by Parliamentary Armed Forces Commissioner Hans-Peter Bartels.
The call on politicians to double-down on reforms and increase funding came in the same week a Defense Ministry paper revealed German soldiers did not have enough protective vests, winter clothing or tents to adequately take part in a major NATO mission.
Germany's lack of military readiness 'dramatic' – DW – 02/20/2018
That's something Trunp might've been right about other NATO nations stepping up, but excluding Ukraine from negotiations was the wrong move.
Most Europeans agree. We need to rearm to protect ourselves, and stop buying US arms, and build up our own manufacturing bases.
God knows a US president turning off the taps on weapons and ammo during an invasion is not just possible but likely with the current administration.
Also obviously improving our own economy by not pumping the money into the US economy will help offset the spending we have to make.
Excellent. Love it. Handle the Ukraine sitch. Let us know how it goes.
First you need to stop cozying up with Russia, than we can see how it goes.
I mean. Yes.
That’s the plan.
Perfect. What else can we solve by staying home and having the eu step up?
US hegemony
yeah you can start by packing all this shit up asap, cheers
Nah. We can keep it dormant. You guys haven’t proven you can or will do anything yet or if it’s the status quo of all talk.
That’s not really your choice buddy. You don’t get military bases on other peoples land if they don’t want you there.
Unless you’re hoping the US goes to war with everyone, but that doesn’t seem very America First.
Especially since it seems, after the yanks stopped sharing intel with the Ukrainians, that they are now preparing to share intel with Russia instead. That's the concern of allied intelligence agencies, at least.
American bases? Might as well be Russian bases.
Leaky dons approach to sensitive or confidential information is as basic as a 9 year old with his pokomon cards.
he will try to trade them for new fweends
But because he's needy, dumb and just obnoxious the only 'deals' he will manage to make will resemble the aftermath of a bag of puppies thrown off a bridge into a 8 lane autobaun.
They do want us there. These bases are usually long term leases. I believe we just renewed Diego Garcia for another 99 years or are about to.
Let me know when the EU has Ukraine settled and we’ll figure out your next task.
For now. I wonder how long that will last when America first cosies up to Russia more.
I’ll be petitioning my MPs to kick the Americans out of their bases if Trump gets further into putins lap.
How does this whole global projection thing reconcile with your wish for American isolationism btw? If you got rid of all those overseas bases you could save a lot of money that could be put towards more tax breaks for the ultra wealthy, after all.
